Reviews written for people who have to live with the choice
Brent Technologies helps busy professionals and small teams choose software, gear and books without wading through hype.
Most buying guides list twenty products and recommend all of them. We do the opposite: every review ends with a clear verdict, a short list of who should buy and who should not, and the alternatives to consider if it is not the right fit.
Who is behind the site
Brent Technologies is edited by Amjid Ali. Amjid Ali is a Melbourne-based AI and automation lead, author of five books on infrastructure, automation and digital transformation, and a corporate trainer whose courses on n8n, Proxmox, firewalls and ERP have taught thousands of IT professionals. The site is published by SyncBricks, a technology consultancy in Melbourne, Australia.
Several of the books we review are written by Amjid. Those reviews say so in their first paragraph, and they are scored with the same method as everything else.
How the site is funded
We earn affiliate commissions when readers buy through some of our links. Commissions never decide which products we cover, how they are rated or what we say about them. Read the full affiliate disclosure and our review method.
