Privacy policy

Brent Technologies (brenttechnologies.com) is published by SyncBricks, Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains what we collect when you visit, and your choices. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and, for visitors in Europe and the UK, the GDPR.

What we collect

We have no accounts, forms or comments, so we do not ask you for personal details. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which buttons are clicked, including clicks on affiliate links. Analytics records pseudonymous data such as pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Signals and advertising features are off, and we do not use ad cookies.

Consent

We use Google Consent Mode. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off until you accept them in the banner. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Affiliate links and partner sites

When you click an affiliate link you go to the partner’s site (for example Amazon, or a vendor through impact.com or PartnerStack). That site and network may set cookies to credit the referral to us. Their own privacy policies apply once you are there. We receive only aggregated reports of clicks and sales, not your name or payment details.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain about how we handled it. Email [email protected]. In Australia you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
